Put the numbers side by side and: Koko is a foreign operator without a Belgian licence. Net-net, this is fine for short play, less so for long sessions.

The payment story in Belgium is quickly told: you deposit with Bancontact or Bancontact Pay, and you withdraw by bank transfer. The app once named Payconiq by Bancontact has carried the name Bancontact Pay since March 2026. Bancontact sits on the Belgian debit card as standard, with a threshold that rarely drops under €5.
Bancontact Pay limits to €1500 per operation and €2500 per 24 hours. The stake lands without delay; a withdrawal normally takes one to three banking days, and the operator adds its own check on top.

Opening and verifying an account
Opening an account varies little: real name, date of birth and an identity check before the first withdrawal. Expect an ID document plus proof of address. Paying from someone else's account always creates problems.
There is no Dutch or French guarantee, and no Belgian escalation path. Set the transaction e-mails aside; without those documents a complaint leaves you empty-handed.

How does wagering work?
A bonus is only worth something once you convert the wagering into euros. Without converting to euros a percentage says nothing. The terms usually sit at the bottom of the bonus page.
May Koko operate in Belgium?
No, Koko does not appear in the Belgian licence register. Status can change; re-check the list if in doubt. Anyone wanting certainty looks the name up at the Gaming Commission.
What is the minimum age?
From 21. The bar rose in September 2024, only the lottery stayed at 18. This is verified at registration. This is not a guideline but a statutory limit.
Are winnings taxed?
Not for the player. Belgium taxes the operator, not the winner. Nothing about that rule changes in 2026. At a foreign operator your tax position may differ.
What is EPIS?
Through the Gaming Commission's EPIS system. One registration excludes you from every licensed operator, online and on-site. The request is free of charge. Relatives can, in certain cases, file a request.
